Enriched Air Diver The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty course, and it’s easy to see why. Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time, which means more time underwater. Very important if you want to do repetitive dives while being at some tropical scuba destination.  You will learn techniques to get more dive time while breathing Enriched Air Nitrox (EAN), consider different equipment changes for diving with EAN, manage oxygen exposure, analyze how much oxygen there is in your scuba tank, use nitrox tables and learn how to set your dive computer for diving with nitrox (bring your users manual).

Self-Reliant Diver! This specialty course familiarizes divers with the skills knowledge of diving in a team while remaining self-reliant. The intent is to allow students to manage risk by adopting a self-reliant mentality. The course is an introduction to diving within recreational limits with a greater degree of redundancy and extended knowledge of dive planning and risk management.

You’re on your scuba diving holiday, it’s the great dive site, and during your pre-dive safety check, the dive group discovers a few minor problems. The Equipment Specialist Course does qualify the diver as a scuba technician, however it provides the foundation for proper maintenance and care for your investment in your scuba kit, and it may save you losing that precious dive on your next scuba diving vacation.

8 Feb (Sat) EMERGENCY OXYGEN PROVIDER - This course covers provides information for complying with the FDA requirements for training in the administration of emergency oxygen. Participants focus assessments and the appropriate knowledge and skills development with realistic scenario practice. Emergency Oxygen administration is a critical step in treating a severe or life-threatening illness or injury. This program focuses on administering emergency oxygen, rescue breathing and oxygen delivery devices. Other Dates are available upon your request!

Underwater Naturalist! This specialty course lets you look closer to see more on your next dive. Look for symbioses, predator/prey and other relationships between aquatic plants and animal life. Wreck Diver!  Whether sunk on purpose as an artificial reef or the result of mishap, wrecks open fascinating windows to the past. Most divers find wrecked ships, airplanes and even automobiles nearly irresistible because they’re intriguing to explore, exciting avenues of discovery, and usually teeming with aquatic life. The PADI Wreck Diver course teaches you the ins and outs of rewarding, responsible wreck diving.
You will learn:  Techniques for diving exploring shipwrecks, and how to avoid common hazards;  How to research and learn 
the background of your favorite wrecks;  Wreck scuba diving equipment considerations;  Considerations and techniques for 
entering intact wrecks;  Experience in planning, organizing and making at least four wreck dives under the supervision of 
your PADI Instructor.

Dry Suit Diver! Extend your diving season and take this class. With cooler weather coming the diving here and elsewhere just gets better. A drysuit does not only prevent you from getting wet, but it also keeps you warm even in surprisingly cold water.  Preregistration is required and a deposit on drysuit rentals paid 2 weeks in advance, to ensure we have your suit in time and in the right size, or we can direct you to a shop that rents them.  If you are considering purchasing a drysuit please contact us well in advance and we can provide options and or make arrangements.  There is a long lead time on suits ordered so please be aware and plan accordingly.

Underwater Navigator! This specialty course trains you to become the lead diver everyone wants to follow and make your sense of direction legendary.  Finding your way under water is not a matter of luck! It takes practice and know-how. When everyone’s buzzing about a reef or checking out a shipwreck, they’re having a great time – until it’s time to go. Then they turn to you, because as a Underwater Navigator, you know the way back to the boat.
You will learn: Navigation patterns, natural navigation (without a compass), compass navigation, “marking” or relocating a submerged object or position from the surface, underwater mapping, following irregular courses with the Nav-Finder or P.A.U.L. method, Dive site relocation, estimating distance underwater and more!
